I got the idea to create a set of small, 6x6” square paintings that would complement each other and be more affordable than my larger paintings. It turns out When I finished them, I just loved how they looked so playful with the color palette and dappled light and it was hard to part with them!

Stonington Buoys in Progress

I’ve been working on a sun-dappled row of buoys that I photographed in Stonington, Maine. This buoy painting is different in that it has several other elements, such as buckets of flowers and railings.
